I must admit that I poo pooed it for some time. But now after using Twitter for about 3 months...I'm completely hooked. I've had several questions answered with supportive info and links to helpful resources. I've grown closer to peeps I've been a fan of for some time. And I've even received some rockin' recipes from tweeters.

Oh and it's just fun! Whether I'm in my home office or running the Bay to Breakers...all my twits are right there with me!

Great coverage of Twitter and Crowd Sourcing. In addition to using Twitter for 'how to' type questions, I also use Twitter for referral requests. I recently asked @cwoodall and @sbwolfe for an attorney recommendation in Alabama. They sent me two options and I have already worked with one of the attorneys to solve my problem. You can't beat first-hand referrals vs yellow pages or google search results.

WARNING: Twitter can be addicting. Early warning signs are hours twittered away with no sense of the passing of time. And yet, it's a great tool for rants, networking, guidance, and laughs.
