The question still remains: Does their VC bank account have enough cash to keep Redfin programmers and agents employed and in health insurance before they can figure out how to operate in low sales price markets where the health insurance and benefits costs for the salaried agent exceeds the commission earned?

Jeff,

Rock on man, I really enjoy your posts. I followed your link from the Redfin Blog. Let me just say that I thoroughly enjoyed your schooling of the Real Estate agent in the thread. I think his login was CSP. That's the first time I have seen a Realtor not plaster their name and face all over something!

I am second generation loan officer and my Dad was a commercial contractor. My whole life has been in Real Estate, and I couldn't agree with you more about the ridiculous nature of Real Estate Agents. Forget Microsoft, this is a serious violation of the Anti-Trust laws.

Keep up the good fight!
