Should a Home Buyer be Obligated to Use a Realtor® Who Represents the Seller?

This isn’t another Blog Swap, just a ‘Guest Author’ spot that I offered to Jay Reifert after he contacted me about reading his post regarding the ambiguous term ‘Procuring Cause’, when dealing with a Realtor.

Jay ‘found’ me via probably the longest comment thread I have ever taken part in, over on Redfins blog. While Jay preps his own blog for launch, I offered to republish his post here after reading the article, which is well thought out and has personal ramifications to the author.

Community Real Estate Content for a National Audience

Pat Kitano, Kevin Boer, Gregg Swann, The Guys of Sellsius, and Mike Simonsen are putting together a network of regional bloggers to aggregate their ‘local market’ related posts into the site MyHouseKey.org as a single point of reference for consumers looking for such geographically relative content.
MHK reciprocates the participation by linking directly back to your blog for the content, which differs from ActiveRain’s Localism.com initiative in that you must post within AR’s network (on the AR or Localism.com platform) to get ’seen’.
We seem to have two players in a similar space…both groups are impressive and successful in their own right. It’ll be interesting to see how both Localism.com and MHK play out.
I currently post to my blog (here) and within 24-48 hrs post to the Active Rain community. It works well for me…So ill post to both sites in a similar fashion, it would be foolish not to considering the potential collective SEO firepower.
